![]() ![]() A newsflash reporting that giant robots had attacked the nearby town of Border Flats gave the Powermasters something else to think of, and the three of them decided to investigate quietly. He stepped out to contemplate things, and Slapdash began to worry about how long it was taking for his leader to center himself. The Autobots reached Earth on Christmas Day, but once there, Optimus's focus on his mission began to waver. It's lovely weather for a Joyride together with you. Due to the show's steep admission fee, none of the others wound up partaking in Sky Lynx's rescue. He changed his mind when he learned that fellow Autobot Sky Lynx was part of the line-up, and investigated the carnival with Goldbug. Both Joyride and Slapdash were very impressed by what they saw, but Optimus wasn't about to change course while Autobots in need were waiting for them on the Earth's moon. ![]() On its way to Earth, the Steelhaven received a transmission advertising the " Cosmic Carnival," an intergalactic traveling show with attractions from many worlds. With all loose ends tied up on the alien world, Joyride embarked on the Steelhaven once more, and took to the stars with four new Nebulan teammates in tow. The new Autobot Powermasters fared much better against the Decepticon Powermasters when they fought once more, easily dodging their laser blasts and retaliating with utmost precision. Joyride was binary-bonded to Hotwire, a former "chronic unlicensed private vehicle procurer", i.e. This enabled them to properly intake fuel and considerably boosted their fighting ability. In order to save themselves and properly reanimate Optimus Prime, Joyride and his fellows underwent the Powermaster process to binary-bond with a group of Nebulan scientists. The Autobots made a rather poor showing of themselves during this altercation, their energy supplies running dangerously low by its end. Despite the great risks to themselves, the Autobots were determined with seeing their mission through, and eagerly leaped into battle when the aforementioned Decepticons, Dreadwind and Darkwing, launched an attack on the Council of Peers. Joyride reacted poorly to Hi-Q's initial warnings that staying on Nebulos would surely mean the Autobots' doom, mistaking the scientist's words of caution for threats. Totaled! While there, they were forced to deal with not only a set of supercharged Decepticon bandits, but the planet-wide poisoning of the fuel supply which put them at risk of terminal systems shutdown. On Fortress Maximus's orders, he and his crewmates left the battle and took the ship back to Nebulos, on a mission to revive the fallen Optimus Prime. Their presence helped prevent the Steelhaven from being destroyed in a Decepticon attack. Joyride was under Fortress Maximus's command on board the Steelhaven, and was part of a skeleton crew left aboard the ship when everyone else disembarked to watch Grimlock and Blaster battle for leadership on the surface of the Moon. In "1944" Director Elmo Nüganen portrays the real events on the Eastern Front in Estonia in 1944, from the Battle Of Tannenburg Line, the July fighting on the Sinimäed Hills, until November, when the Sorve peninsula was already conquered by the Soviet Army. 1944 (2015) is considered one of the best Drama,History,War movie in India and around the world. The REV-1 is designed for use with the free Serato DJ Lite – which is a polite way of saying you don’t get any software licenses included. That said though, the REV-1 is well equipped with performance pads and a mic input. The mixer section is roughly based on Pioneer’s DJM-S range of battle mixers, although it’s slightly more cramped and less stylish looking. While the REV-1 is relatively compact, it boasts larger than average jog wheels – which is one of the main areas where budget controllers tend to let scratch DJs down. The REV-1 is a two-channel controller in battle configuration, meaning the pitch faders are placed above, rather than beside the jog wheels. However, with its new REV-1 controller, Pioneer DJ is aiming to change that. Turntablism requires precision and dexterity and cheaper controllers generally aren’t up to the job. ‘Budget’ and ‘scratch’ aren’t two words that tend to go well together. It works great as an authentic-feeling addition to a DVS-ready mixer setup though, and can be paired with anything from a second Twelve deck to a sampler or pad-based controller. The obvious downside here is no mixer functionality, meaning you’ll need more gear to complete your setup. The deck is compatible with the likes of Serato and Virtual DJ via USB, but also outputs DVS audio via an RCA port, which is compatible with most major digital vinyl systems. While most DJ controller jog wheels tend to feel – at best – similar to a club-standard CDJ, with its aluminium platter and “true vinyl-style” drive the Rane Twelve is as close as you can get to mixing with wax without using the real thing. Rather than replicate a full DJ setup, with two or more players and a mixer, this controller is designed specifically to replace a single vinyl turntable. Traktor heads, meanwhile, are well served by the 3rd gen version of Native Instruments’ Traktor Kontrol S4 with its ‘haptic’ jog wheels.įor scratch DJs, at the affordable end, Pioneer’s new REV-1 is commendable, while the pricier Rane Twelve MkII offers the closest you’ll get to a real turntable in controller form.Īs is probably evident from looking at it, the Rane Twelve is somewhat different from many of the controllers on this list. ![]() If rekordbox isn’t your thing, it’s worth giving a nod to the Denon MC8000 for Serato users. This cut-down Pioneer device still captures much of the CDJ workflow but at a more convenient and attainable price. That said, it’s a sizable device and probably too expensive – and unnecessary – for a lot of at-home setups, in which case the smaller and affordable Pioneer DDJ-400 is an excellent choice. All tracks prepared in rekordbox are ready to be loaded onto a USB and taken out to a club too – meaning this is probably the closest compatibility you’ll find between home controller setup and DJ booth. Its meaty, pressure-sensitive jog wheels have the heft of mixing on one of the brand’s industry-standard CDJs, and the mixer section is effectively a trimmed-down DJM-900. In fact, the 1000 is the closest thing we’ve found to condensing a club CDJ setup down into controller form. That said, for our money Pioneer DJ’s flagship DDJ-1000 and the company’s rekordbox software are the perfect pairing. Head to the bottom of the page for more buying advice on choosing the right controller for you.Īt the risk of sounding like we’re hedging our bets, the best DJ controller ultimately comes down to what sort of DJ you are and what software you’d like to use. Here though, we’re focusing on units designed primarily as controllers and specifically with DJs in mind. Many standalone ‘players’ can also be used to control DJ software, and numerous non-DJ-specific MIDI devices can be used, in one way or another, to mix with. ![]() ![]() Now, the lines around what counts as a ‘DJ controller’ are blurring a little. Whether you’re after something to replicate the feel of traditional turntables, mixers, and CDJs, or a modern pad device designed for sample triggering and effects manipulation, the best DJ controllers in this guide offer skin-tight integration with your preferred mixing software of choice, so you can properly get hands-on and expressive with your library or tracks. Some are designed for use with just desktop machines, while others can be used with your mobile device. There are controllers specifically designed to take advantage of the latest features of rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, or Virtual DJ, and others that will work with a multitude of applications. From so-called ‘battle’ devices – aimed at scratch DJs and turntablists – to complex rigs that emulate the functionality of top-end club setups. Even just within the realm of the best DJ controllers, there’s no shortage of variety. ![]() ![]() 11325 files, 8.68 GB Maybe try InnoSetup instead of qSetup. the files are unpacked by installer in c:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\\ at least on Windows 7. Let's say I had DipTrace installed on my SSD drive with only 5 GB of free space. Don't see why the 1.5 GB has to be unpacked to 8-10 GB in a temporary folder, only to have it copy files to destination folder later. installer crashed without error messages (gets stuck and clicking next doesn't do anything) I had only 5 GB free space on the boot drive, and the installer defaults to boot drive to unpack itself. I have a 120 GB SSD as boot drive that was kinda full. really need to work a bit on your installer for the models. zip or 7zip archives can be easily parsed to retrieve the file listing ( and extracting files from 7zip is as fast as zip as long as solid mode compression is unchecked), and the 3d viewer could easily extract (and cache in ram if needed) only the models used by the active project. just by enabling NTFS compression on the folder the size shrinks to half, so the content is very compressible. Is there any particular reason why the 3d models can't be "installed" as zip/7zip/whatever packs, maybe grouped by manufacturer or category instead of having hundreds of files that are basically very verbose, text files? Reason is altogether the use a bit of disk space, they unpack in around 8-10 GB. I went with KiCad because of limitations in Eagle and DT, that KiCAD had at the time, yes they have since been implemented but that was my reason at the time to drop them, and when you spend a decent amount of time learning a new tool you kind of stick to it, I have EAGLE 7 installed for legacy, removed DT a long time ago, nobody in the hobbyist community I have seen uses it for OSHW projects, so I had no need for it. Say what you want about DT/EAGLE/KICAD the truth is they can all perform mostly the same functions as each other, it's just what you find easier to use and what you are willing to pay or not pay for. And just hope that it gets added in the future. Yes it is frustrating when simple things are missing like as the mentioned dashed/dotted line feature, but you have 2 choices, live with that limitation or use a different tool.
